Need to pack lunch for me, DD & DH for a flight this weekend. ...

I'm kinda coming up blank w/ ideas!  What do you pack?

Re: lunch on the plane?

  • Normally we take snack kind of food. Goldfish, grapes, a whole banana, chips, bagels.  And obviously we buy drinks after we cross through security. How long is your flight? Where you going?

    Have a wonderful trip.

  • We always just swing through a Panera or Subway (or something similar) once we get through the gate. I have so much carry on stuff to juggle and get through the airport as it is; I don't want to add a sack of food to the collection until I absolutely have to.

This is me. I grab something once I'm through security. I never trust them even though they say you can take food, I've seen it taken away.

  • Other than snacks (goldfish, granola bars, etc), I agree that it's easier to buy a sub, burrito, salad, etc once you get through security. Sandwiches have a tendency of getting smushed so I never bring them from home. DH has brought lunchables before, since they're easily carried.
