Estes Park family-friendly lodging

Hi ladies!  We are heading to Estes Park next month (from OK) and will be spending 2 or 3 nights there, before we head to the in-laws' house in Fort Collins.  We are looking for something preferably on Fall River, or on another body of water (so my husband can take our son fishing).  Does not really need to have a kitchen or kitchenette, but a fridge or mini-fridge would be great.  Any suggestions??

Thanks!!

Re: Estes Park family-friendly lodging

  • My husband and I stayed at Murphy's River Lodge a few months ago. It was great. At the tip of town, so it was a bit less crowded but still easily walkable. The staff was very helpful. There are even movies to rent for free (which may be good for the evenings as there isn't a ton to do once it gets dark), and there is a nice pool and hot tub on property. Have a great trip! :) we just love Estes and are so lucky to live so close!
