As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

WTF - people posting for babysitters on care.com (I was looking for something occassional to help us stay ahead if I get furloughed). I think you can leave out MUST LOVE KIDS... it's kind of a given and I side-eye you!

We're suppose to get a 30 days warning. It all depends on what Congress gets done, but going from their past track record, doesn't look good. Other organizations have told their employees it's going to happen and will be 1 day/week for 22 weeks (starts end of April to end of Sept). We will probably move to 8 hour days with every Friday off.
If H keeps making what he's been making we will be ok (and i'm setting $ aside from taxes just in case), and I'll be getting an extra pay in May to use for fun things when we get the kids this summer... but I really wanted to get ahead and pay off a lot of debt this year. 20% paycut isn't going to help that goal.

Of course, you're thrown into the job hunt now. Are you looking for part time like you wanted or anything you can get?
I thought life would get less stressful after wedding planning, we are finding out it just keeps on going!
