Kim! How are things going at home for you and your new little one???
Re: **Kimberlykh**
Thanks so much for asking! I haven't been on the boards since she was born 10 days ago! I can see TN posts from my phone, but can't post for whatever reason.
Life is good, definitely changed a lot though! I am learning to survive on little sleep and adjusting to my new role as a mother. Clara is such a sweet baby. She rarely cries (I actually called the doctor because I thought it was strange) but they said to just be thankful and enjoy this time as she may "find her lungs" a little later. She is very cuddly and loves to be held.
I'm a little sad that I'm having problems breast feeding. I was so excited to do this, but because she was three weeks early, the doc at the hospital recommended supplementing with formula. I was so concerned that I didn't really argue it, just started supplementing and pumping right away, and now she won't latch. So, I pump and we give her formula, The plus side is my husband can help with the feedings but I am really disappointed with how it all turned out. But, she is happy and healthy and that is all that matters.
Thanks for all of your well-wishes. I was so excited to let you all know about Clara's birth. You are the first that I told about my pregancy test being positive!
