Re: Confession Thursday
Yay!!!
My confession is that I have to tell people at work that they screwed things up without hurting anyone's feelings and I am really nervous. I have never really had to do this before, but I guess its what happens when you get a promotion, right?
Mana - I'm sorry about your friends. I would feel the same way.
Further confession - The complete lack of communication and decision making in my office is giving me a headache. It is also causing the morale to nose dive and it really sucks. Both DH & I love our jobs and this atmosphere is killing us.
My confession: Duh really isn't a good handyman, most of the time I just do it myself but being 25 weeks pregnant its difficult!! We have to do a lot to prepare for this baby as well as our toddler (ie baby gates ect .) And I simply can't do it! He's a typical man and just skims instructions instead of following them properly and then blames the instructions when its all wrong! He also gets hot tempered when it goes wrong, which it always does bcs he doesn't use the instructions properly. He managed to botch my moms new china hutch recently! I was so embarrassed!! I don't want to offend him but I dunno how much longer I can bite my tongue!
I actually do stuff he sayes hes going to do so that I don't have to deal with his hack jobs and temper :S
my H is the same way- with instructions and not being able to put things together- he actually returned one of those cube shelving things because " the pieces arent all there and there was no way to get it together right!" i think he just didnt read the instructions and then got frustrated he couldnt figure it out! lol i am more handy then he is- when we moved in i asked him to hang the curtain rod and he said he had never used a drill!!! i was shocked i come from a very handy family ( 5 older brothers and my dad who are always fixing things by themselves!)
ok now my confession- h took a leave of absence from his job ( working in a restaurant) to try to find a new job < he has a masters degree in business and finance ) - he has not been having any luck and he doesn't want to go back to the restaurant at all! but him being home ALL the time is driving me crazy! i would just like to have maybe 2 hours a week where he is not home and i can be by myself !!!ahhhh
