What is everyone reading? Anybody finish anything in the last week?
my read shelf:
Re: Book Club Monday
I'm reading The Death Cure it's the final book in the Maze Runner triology. I'm really trying to care about this book, but I'm having a hard time with it. This is #13 for the year.
I finished Beautiful creatures last week and then went to the movie for Valentine's Day. The book and movie are radically different. The book I feel was better, but there was a lot of things that could have been taken out of the book. The movie shortened it up, but changed way too much in my opinion.
I've now won 3 goodreads giveaways. One of the books I didn't read the full synopsis when I entered and I don't think I ever will read it. Maybe I'll sell it to half priced books. The other two I won sound good so I'm excited for them!
I borrowed Gone Girl from the library last night for the Kindle but haven't started reading it yet. I'm looking forward to starting it!
I finished reading Mockingjay a few days ago. It took me a while, even though I enjoyed it.
I finished A Feast for Crows - FINALLY! I was sick Saturday so I read 140 pages haha. I also finished listening to Linger - Maggie Steifvaner or something. It was ok... got a little too teenage angst for me. But I'll read the 3rd one for sure.
I tried a classic, again, Wuttering Height and gave up after 1 disc. I just downloaded A Winter Garden - Kristen Hannah.
And I started reading Happily Ever After - Nora Robert's Bridal Quartet #4. So far so good. I relate to this girl more than the rest...
