Who did NOT get off work today?
Anyone?
(Obviously, unless it's also a Canadian holiday, then our lovely ladies in Canada would, I know, but here in the US it's President's Day, and I feel like I work at the only place open in the whole country, ha.)
Re: Who did NOT get off work today?
I'm working : (
I only get like 5 university holidays off a year (in addition to 2 weeks vacation that my advisor is very flexible with)...Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, 2 days for Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Years Day.
The undergrad campus gets Martin Luther King Jr, Day off...but the med center campus does not?!?
Weird! I work at a college, too. The students don't get any of the federal holidays off either, but MLK Day is usually during their winter break. But Columbus Day & President's Day, we're all here.
I am off all week, but I had to help my dad paint one of his rental units so the new tenant can move in at the end of the week.
H was working.
It was family day in most of Canada yesterday.. not here in Quebec though.. but I am not working presently... so I guess I have everyday off
was going to go look for work but not sure who would hire a 20 week pregnant woman lol... I did get good news however workers compensation is sending me one last "nice" check... that should help.
