My back has been getting worse again so I went to a GP today and he's sending me for x-rays and stuff. When I scheduled my appointment for "next week" it ended up being Friday, March 1. I had to double check because I was surprised it's already going to be March.
How is everyone doing? Up to anything interesting?
It's a normal week at work. We have a week off for Spring Break in March. I want to go home, but with H being unemployed again and extra bills while I pursue my back/shoulder issue I do not feel like we should spend the money. I did get to Skype with my niece (4) and nephew (8 months) yesterday. I played music and my niece and I had a dance party. It was cute ![]()
Re: February is flying by...
I agree...this month is flying by!
Right now, I'm wishing this cold would disappear pronto! I have had a headache and that nasty dry cough. UGH! Other than that, not up to too much.
TTC since June 2012
Yes it is!
Not too much going on here. Waiting on the dr to call me back regarding the (hopefully) last test I need to have done next week. Then we (hopefully) can get started with treatments immediately following!
I feel like our lives are revolving around doctor appointments, tests, when I'm fertile, and just handing over our money!
TTC since March 2012

It sure is! I can't believe next week is already march.
Im on my last day of a long stretch at work then I'm on vacation for 5 days. I'm not doing much because I have to call about jury duty tomorrow night but I am getting my hair cut. I am super excited to get some of this hair chopped off! It's way too long. My parents are coming to visit this weekend. Not sure what we will be doing yet though.
It does seem to be going fast. I've been pulling 50 hour weeks and more since the end of January. It was only supposed to be for a few weeks, but stuff keeps coming up.
H's back problems have resurfaced from the 2010 car accident and we are paying $60 a pop for his chiro, so I feel you on not spending the money right now. I would love to get a ton of stuff for the new place, but realistically I know I need to wait.
Yeah I went to my GP hoping he'd tell me where to make an appointment next - ortho, chiro, etc. First he's sending me for an x-ray and blood work. Then I have to go back to him and THEN if that is all negative, which it most likely is, I'll go to an ortho and have to pay those co-pays and test costs since I haven't met my deductible yet. I wish he would've just sent me to a specialist right away since all signs are that I'll be sent to an orthopedist next.
Ouch. My wallet.
How old are we?! All this talk about doctors! lol!
I hope everyone gets answers and starts feeling better.
It is crazy how this month is flying by. The light bulb went off in my head that it isn't the lights at school causing me headaches. It's the hospital like smell that just permeates the entire building. It sticks to everything that enters. I have to take a shower immediately when I get home to get the smell off of my skin and hair (and febreze all fabrics). They are aware of the problem and I have heard from a couple of instructors that the school is fully aware of the smell. And that it affects some people more then others. But from what I heard they are working on the problem (hello! You have been aware of this smell for going on two years now). I hardly noticed it before or any side effects but maybe I was being affected and didn't notice. I probably notice it more now that I'm not the same. Does that make sense? I don't know why I notice it more. Sigh...School is officially bad for my health.
Eeek Blu you like the new My Little Ponies! Are you a Brawny (sp)?
I swear a majority of our friends Love that show. I watched a few episodes and wanted my time back. I then promptly watched the old My little Pony movie. I am going with my sister to a pony convention in June, think its June. Itll be an experience. But I'm also the person who can't stand The Walking Dead (have watched all but two episodes).
I do hope the rest of this month goes by quickly for y'all. And March is much better for you.
Brony are boys.....Pegasisters are girls. And yes; a friend of Vhati's and mine got us into it. I HATED the old My Little Pony show, but it was, to me, way too girly. Had the toys though, tons of them.
I hate The Walking Dead too, but I don't like zombies. Vhati didn't like the first season of the show, but that's because he LOVES the graphic novel, and the first season doesn't match up, which he was upset about, though I had told him about it prior to him watching it; I tease him about it, saying he either forgot from me telling (during the opening credits) or wasn't listening.
I am now educated. For every Pegasister I know, I know 5 Bronys. I really wasn't a fan of the actual series (only watched it at my cousins house, she loved it) when I was little but LOVED the movie. Had a ton of the toys too. One of my friends said if I liked the Power Puff Girls I would like the show. Not true. I'm not sure what it is about the show I don't like. I kinda wish I did. Oh well.
Good to know I'm not alone in the not a walking dead fan club. My issues is besides the Zombies ( H and others kept saying there were hardly any zombies in it, LIES!) is the predictability (I see things coming and spoil the show for them thankfully it's getting a bit less predictable), and the overall lack of like able/ character development (the couple of Characters I liked from the start have had the most/ best development in my opinion). I think I would like the graphic novel better if I ever read it. I noticed a big change when season 3 came around, as in the show got better.
