I have an 11 year old Chihuahua that has been diagnosed with phase 3 congestive heart failure; she is currently taking medication which has helped greatly reduce her discomfort for the time being but, from my understanding this dosages will need to be increased as time goes until no longer effective. My question; I am wondering if anyone else has (or has had a pet) with CHF and if so, what was your experience?

I am so sorry! CHF is considered a terminal disease, but the medicines do help and can for quite a while. Yes as the heart tires the meds will need to be adjusted so frequent check ups is recommended.
