Hi ladies! im somewhat new to this site, i have made a few posts and just kinda browsed, My husband and i were married on June 23rd 2012, the same day as his grandparents 51st wedding anniversary

Yea, it's not fun that no one is really here anymore. Right after we all got married it was super busy on here and everyone has kind of dropped off the face of the earth.
That's so special that your wedding has such meaning in your family. H and I were married in the church that my parents were married in 31 years before that. So that was special to me, I always wanted to get married there.
Thank you! He's a mini schnauzer. He does definitely have westie features though. I'm wondering if he'll grow into his schauzer looks as he gets older. He's only 5 months old. He's my little baby, I love him! :-) Do you have any pets?

Yes i do, 2 dogs, a female German Shepherd x Border Collie mix named Sadie, and a Miniature Australian Shepherd male named Buster
they are both almost 2 years old, they are just like kids haha
well i wrote a long "intro" on one of the other pages hoping to get any "hello"'s back but i find alot of the ladies and gents there are quite...rude...
Anyway i am turning 24 in July
my husband and i met when my life was at a terrible time, in 2007 i had lost my dad a month after graduation, my mother then went on a terrible drinking and drug use which sadly she is on, and my ex boyfriend was trying to ween his way back into my life..i was pretty lost and hurt as my older sibling was drinking and abusing drugs.. and said he and a buddy were coming to visit, and i being the curious one said hello to his buddy via facebook..and thats when i knew...literally i was gonna marry him, just from first speaking, i did not tell him that of coarse, but his views for me were much the same 
He lived a few provinces away and came in 2008 for a week to meet me and seen what my life was like, and after a month offered to fly me to where he lived.. let me tell you it was a rough go only JUST meeting someone and learning to get to know eachother AND live together...but my god is he incredible, ive never ever met anyone as amazing as he is. and we had our ups and downs and we managed to make it to 3 years and got married
we have not gone on a honeymoon yet, maybe one day, we aren't the traveling type. We have own our house, its a good little starter, no children yet, though we have 2 very sweet dogs 
sorry this was quite long...its a pretty long and complicated story. Its nice to talk to some friendly people!
I am so sorry to hear about your dad and the bad turn your mom took. My mom also has an issue with alcohol, so I can understand what that must be like. Its sweet though that you have such a sweet ending to that hard time in your life.
What kind of dogs do you have? I have a Lhasa Apso named Gizmo. He is 2 and is the best do ever! He is a mommy's boy, so DH and I are a little nervous how he will react to the baby when it gets here.
I have a German Shepherd X border collie mix, and a Miniature Australian Shepherd...both are total sweethearts. both very sucky haha and they love to snuggle,
I dont know what all you would like to know, so I will tell you a little about DH and myself.
We knew each other when we were little (our grandmas were best friends.) we lost touch for a bunch of years. On night I got a friend request on myspace. We messaged each other for a few weeks and decided to go out one night. We figured out who each other's grandmas were. We were inserable after that night. we got engaged two years later and 16 months later got married. We have our 2 year old Lhasa Apso, Gizmo and found out I was pregnant with our first Christmas day!
Thanks! I enjoy baking p, scrapbooking, spending time with H, friends and family. I also love reading, playing with Gizmo, and recently looking at baby stuff.
What do you do for a living? I was recently laid off, so right now I am a full time job hunter.
i work for a company that sells industrial products.. i dont know if you know what GFS or Sysco is, but they are huge in canada, we are basically that.
I like scrap booking too! and I have slowly found myself creeping at baby stuff, it doesnt help that my bestfriend is pregnant so thats all she talks about haha so it gets on my brain too
LOL, before DH and I found out we were pregnant, we would often creep on baby stuff! The day after we got our BFP, he went and bought the baby's first stuffed animals and some toys.
Enjoy it while you can! We started trying on the HM, and as happy as I am that it happened for us, if we were younger, we would have waited a few years to try! But, being 31 and 35, time is getting short for us.
Hi all! I haven't been on TN much in the last few months. For our new fellow married lady, I will say that I also got married on June 23, 2012! It is hard to believe it has been 9 months already! My husband and I married on the 7 year anniversary of our first date.
I have a chocolate lab/boxer mix which I adopted from a rescue foundation nearly two years ago, at the age of 3. He is the sweetest, most adorable, loving dog! He matches us perfectly. If I were to get another pet in the future, I would probably adopt again. There is a female one eyed cat with a bladder issue that has been returned to the foundation twice. She is very sweet and loves to cuddle. If she is still there when the time is right, we may adopt her.
I am in college right now. I am finishing up midterms this week. I will take one summer class and 4 classes in the fall, which will hopefully complete my degree in December.
Anything else you want to know, ask! Also at niecie, are you 31 now? If so, I have you beat! And my husband has yours beat in age too! Lol. My husband and I are 32 and 37. We don't have any kids and it is looking if we ever do, it won't be for another 3 years. I am thinking one might be enough.
I am an English major with a minor in Business. I will probably apply to some really broad fields after I graduate.
