Motivate me...
in Married Life
To go to the grocery store. Not only to get food for the week, but to prepare for our second snow storm in the past five days. I would sent DH, but last week when he went to the store to "prepare" for the storm... he came home with a box of wine and a bottle of Gin. We keep it classy at our house. Anyway, any ideas to get me motivated?

Grocery shopping for me is much easier when I have a grocery list. H and I usually discuss what we'll have for dinner that upcoming week and I make a list of everything we'll need for the entire week.
Maybe you and H could go to the grocery store together? When my H and I go together, I will send him to get certain things while I continue to shop for the rest. It seems to make the shopping trip go by much faster. And that way neither of us can complain that the other one got the wrong thing, etc.

ugh i hate grocery shopping over the weekend, always crowded. I agree go with your list so you know what you need. I personally would leave my DH at home because he makes the trip longer and more expensive. Why dont you plan on something nice to make for dinner or dessert (or while you are trapped at home from the snow) That way you can get all the stuff you need and you can hunker down and enjoy some good food.
EDIT- And i would def put my favorite junk food on the list that way i would look forward to having it
