Q for mothers

Hello ladies! I've been running for years and have been working on my speed lately. We've been trying to get pregnant for a few months now, and I can't help but wonder if I'm over doing it. Feels great to push past my limits, but I would hate to have it get in the way of getting pregnant!

I've seen conflicting info online, and I would love some of the moms on this board to weigh in! Just curious if you backed off of pushing your limits when TTC, or if you just carried on as usual.

 Thanks!

TTC since 12/2012, Me: 27 DH: 28, Married since 8/2006

Re: Q for mothers

  • I would just ask your doctor. Can't hurt to ask, but unless you are having fertility problems, I have never heard of a doctor telling someone to give up on the exercise routines.
  • I would talk to your gyno, but if you are menstruating as normal, you should be fine. I maintained a very active lifestyle through TTC & pregnancy. GL!
