What are you reading? Did you finish anything? Reviews?
my read shelf:
Re: Book Club Monday
Almost done A Winter Garden - Kristen Hannah. Slow beginning but I really like it! Next I'm going to listen to Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan.
I'm about 60% done Happily Ever After - Nora Robert's Bridal Quartet #4. Kind of predictable. Sometimes after a long book, the short ones take me FOREVER. I'd like to finish this this week, and get Shadow of Night - Deborah Harkness (All souls Trilogy #2) from the library. The REAL library for a REAL book haha. I'm such an ebook snob, but they don't have it at the elibrary and I'm not paying $14 for a book!
Same here! Then I get home and don't.
Come on ladies!! Grab something easy and start with that.
I am still reading Beautiful Creatures. I got distraced this weekend with watching Once Upon a Time. I love that show!
I'm reading Invisible by Lorena McCourtney. After finishing The Maze Runner series I needed something light hearted. I'm not far enough into it to have an opinion of it. It's not my usual genre, but it was free, and a coworker recommended it to me. It seems like it could get funny, but I've only read four chapters, not far enough into the plot yet.
I don't know how many of you are Delirium fans but Requim (Book 3) comes out on March 5th. I'm excited and scared about it. I read a spoiler free review from someone that had an advanced copy. I had a few problems with the end of book two, and it sounds like those problem may make me not like book three at all. I've got my fingers crossed as I did love the Delirium. Just going to ignore what I;ve read and go get it the day it comes out.
Not book related, but I love Once Upon a Time too!!
Since this is a book thread, I figure I should add something book related....
Last week I started reading Gone Girl. I'm not very far into it (about 12%), but I'm enjoying it so far.
Once Upon a Time is wonderful!!! I absolutely love it...Some of the men aren't too bad to look at, either :P
This week I read Somebody to Love by Kristan Higgins. I really, really liked it! I'll probably check out some of her other books. I also read The Trophy Wives Club and Back to Life (the 2nd installment of TWC) by Kristin Billerbeck. They were alright.
I've now read 20 books in 2013 which puts me 3 books ahead of my yearly goal of 110! Yay! I barely read last year, so I'm glad to be back in the game. I've got 3 books waiting for me on my Kindle from the library!
