just wondering.

Re: just wondering.

  • You could consider getting a T-fal Actifry. It's supposed to be able to fry foods with very little oil. You could also try subbing sweet potato fries for regular fries and experiment with kale chips...
  • So you've gained weight and you don't want to encourage him and yourself to get healthy - you'd rather disguise your food as junk? Look, from this post and your post on relationships, this guy doesn't seem like a good fit for you.
  • I suggest looking for a good cookbook where you can make lighter versions of things you like. I enjoy Cooking Light books or pick up their magazine once and while to change it up. If there are certain entrees you both like from local restaurants, try to find ways to make lighter versions (online or cookbooks). My husband was adamant he didn't like certain vegetables until I covered them in vinegar or Frank's buffalo sauce. Once he realized he liked them prepared certain ways, he was open to trying them other ways. I sympathize with you, it can be challenging with your partner is not entirely on the same page as you when it comes to health and wellness. I find the gradual approach works for us. :)
