I currently have the Droid Revolution. Hate it. The on screen touch screen screws up all the time while I am texting..it is slow and wrong letters pop up when I type....and not just because I pushed the wrong button. :0p.   I am thinking either the droid 4 ( I think it is..the latest droid with slide out key pad). Or possibly giving the IPhone a chance.   My concern is that the iPhone texting is slow like my current phone.

any thoughts?

I've heard quite a few people rave about their Samsung Galaxy.

I think that any phone with a slideout keyboard will in most respects type fast than a touch screen. That being said most of the slide outs I come across I still have problems typing correctly on them. 

I have the iPhone 5. It replaced my iPhone 3GS and it is a whole lot fast for me. I still have problems misspelling words but not nearly as much as I used to have.

I have the LG Lucid and dh has the new Samsung Galaxy.  We both love our phones, however, I'm not much of a techie.  He got the new Iphone from work and traded it in within a few days to get the Samsung.
