Easter Fun!

I love Easter and this year am hosting a neighborhood party for the kids but since we never know what kind of weather we will have I've just ordered a couple packages of these Easter eggs to fill and hide in the backyard. It's going to be so much fun to watch the kids hunting for eggs.

Re: Easter Fun!

  • Wow, thanks for a cool idea. I like the idea of using plastic fillable eggs much better than using real eggs for an Easter hunt.
  • Here are some good tips and what to do for an Easter party.

Decorate the house and yard where you're holding the party with lots of pastel-colored helium balloons, streamers, and paper cutouts of eggs, rabbits, and carrots.

Hide all the eggs. Make some easier to find for the little kids, and some much more difficult for the older children.

When all the eggs are found, ask who found the special egg with "Congratulations" in it. Award the recipient a prize like a huge chocolate egg or bunny.

    Have a Happy hunting!!

Celebrate life and love with a romantic anniversary room package at any Hotel, B&B, or Vacation Rental in the U.S.
  • I'm also hosting Easter. Can't wait. I have three nephews all under 5 who just love running around my house looking for eggs. Any other great ideas please share!
