What's bugging you today?

I feel so disconnected from my family lately. My dad and his girlfriend are the only ones who make an effort to come see us and do things together. My mom lives an hour away and we have not seen her since christmas. She was the one who originally brought up the idea of building on our family's land, well that idea seems to have gone down the crapper. we got some wishy washy answer of "well it would probably just be cheaper for you guys to buy an existing house". so basically, no, we don't want you to have it. every one in my family has gotten hooked up with land, houses, etc but me....I really don't get it. I don't "expect" anything to be handed to me, I just wish I could understand the reasoning.

and now I am apparently getting into it with my cousin on FB over wearing fur.

My grandmother has decided she isn't coming to DD's birthday party because she felt out of place last year. The rest of the family doesn't speak to us so it's not my fault she's the only one from that side of the family. Plus, it's about DD, not her which makes me furious and really upset. What can I do though?

I'm mad that I had to pay the same co-pay for seeing a nurse practioner this morning instead of our doctor. I'm sure that's flameful, lol.

I hurt my ankle yesterday in exercise class and I'm really bummed. I've been icing it and elevating it all day here at work. I was doing so good this month with exercising and losing weight and I'm going to be really annoyed if I have to take a break.

Oh and a lot of people don't realize that we have been operating under a continuing resolution for a while now, and that the most current one is up at the end of March.  So Congress has to come up with another, or actually pass a budget, or the whole government will shut down.  But sequestration is the big story right now, well that wont matter come the end of the month if they can't come up with another compromise.

AMEN!  This is getting ridiculous (Congress not doing their jobs).

I forgot my badge this morning. this means I couldn't walk DS into daycare and the director had to take him into his room, and then I had to go to the badging office and get a temporary badge so I could get into my building. EXCEPT when I was there I was told I could have gotten the temporary badge AT my building, but that is the opposite of what we had been told previously (that we could only get temporary badges at the main campus.)  SUCH A PAIN. 

 so I am not happy today.

 And the waiting game continues for my office. To be outsourced or not to be outsourced. Damn it I just want answers!

I've been sick for 2 weeks now! Ive been on antibiotics for 10 days and I get a little better and then get sicker again! I have basically lost 2 weeks of my life!! I was off work for a week and have been working half days this week. I'm behind in school, work and life!!  I just want this to be over!!!
