Are your parents still married? What about DH's?

My parents are still married.  Will be 38 years Friday actually! 

H's father passed away from Lung cancer 8 years ago, but his parents were still married at the time.

Yes, my and my husbands parents are still married.  My parents have been married 35 yrs (last Nov) and my in laws have been married 44 years (I think).  Their aniversary is also in Nov.

My parents are divorced and both are remarried. H's parents have been married 30 years!

My mom passed away just after my parents' 10 year anniversay, (1981).  DH's parents have been divorced for years.  DH has only seen his father for about 5 minutes in the past 25+ years and I have never even met him.

My parents had been married for just shy of 20 years when my Dad passed away in 2010. They both had been married/divorced before they got together. My Mom was never married to my biological father (he just got married for the first time ever last September to the mother of a kid I went to highschool with).

H's parents are currently undergoing a divorce. They have been married for 27 years as of Valentine's Day.

Both sets are still married, yes. My parents have been married for 35 years and change (their anniversary was in September). My ILs have been married for I believe 26 years, maybe? Something like that. DH was about two when they married.

Both sets are still married with us too!  Mine have been married 31 years and his are in the upper 20s close to 30 years.  I'm surprised to see so many people have married, or would have been still married parents.  When DH and I were planning our wedding, all the vendors made comments about how rarely that happens.

Both H and I's parents are divorced. Mine when I was 6 and I havent seen my father since. H parents divorced when he was in middle school/high school but he is still in contact with both of them. They get along when they see each other. His Father remarried and recently divorced. His Mother never remarried but has a bf who she has lived with for the past 15+ years, neither wanted to get married again but they act like they are married.

My parents were never married. My father wanted no part of my life (my mother raised me as a single parent) and we never met. I do know that he died in 2006.

My in-laws have been married for 30 years this past Sept!

my parents will be married 27 years in june. h's parents are also still married, i believe close to 30 years. h's father was married before, but his first wife passed away. i dont think there were any children.

My parents will be married for 35 years in August and H's parents are not together, they haven't been since the first year i met H, so the past 6-7 years, they are still married, i don't believe they are legally separated either but H's father has a girlfriend and they live together. They would have been married for 30+ years in August as well...

My parents were married for 23 years when my mom passed away from cancer in 2003. My dad got remarried July 2012. H's parents have been married for about 46 years.

My parents have been married for 35 years. H's parents have been married right around 30 years, I think maybe just over.

My parents anniversary is on October 1st, so mom really wanted us to get married then, but it was a Monday, and we didn't want to do a Monday ceremony. Something neat about their wedding though is that mom's wedding band was a family heirloom that her mom used to wear. She found out after the wedding that that wedding band had gone through its original wedding ceremony on October 1st exactly 100 years before! I wish we'd been able to be the 3rd couple in my family to get married then. Sadly, the ring was stolen when I was younger and someone broke into our house

Both of our parents are still married.  My parents are married for 38 years in July.  My dad took my mom to her senior prom.

H's parents are married for 30-something years, he's not too sure.  They are also dating since high school.

A PP(I can't remember who and if I look back, my post will get deleted) said a lot of their vendors were surprised that both sets of parents were still married.  I ran into the same thing.  The only person not surprised was our priest.

My parents split 6 years ago when I was 18. It came out of the blue when my dad left my mom for another woman. It was really hard to deal with but over time I've learned to accept the situation and have a good relationship with my dad and his gf and a great relationship with my mom

 

DHs parents are still married and have been over 30 years

My parents are married 42 going on 43 years. H's parents are married 37 going on 38 years.

mine are still legally married but haven't lived together for several years.  H's parents have been married 25.

I have enjoyed reading these replies! I'm not sure how long H's parents have been married. I would say more than 20 years, certainly. Perhaps more than 30. Mine will celebrate 41 in June.
