Help! 0-freakout after naps

For the past three days, E will be sound asleep during his nap during the day, and then he will wake up screaming. No warning or anything. He get really wide eyed, almost like he's scared. Today he was swaddled and still did it. I knew that he was cutting it close to his next feeding, so sshould have woken him up?

  • i never wake J, not even to eat. he will go from 0-pissed off in .2 seconds though, usually when he is hungry. people are always surprised by that. a laugh can literally turn in to a scream. is it possible he is having night terrors? or maybe that's just how he wakes up-ready to eat.
Thanks to our wonderful RE our family is complete!

I was wondering about this too. Is there anything you can do for night terrors? Sometimes I can talk to him and get him to open his eyes and once he sees me he will calm down a little, but not every time. Ugh. Bless his heart.

  • Lily did that a couple times around that age. Possibly a wonder week thing? Some babies just go from 0-60 when they wake up. I hope it doesn't last! :(
