Recommend your orthopedic doctor please!
Everyone, I'm having a nerve issue and need to see an orthopedic specialist. Anyone recommend anyone? Last time I went to one is was on Worker's Comp... and he wasn't all that great.
TIA ladies!

Re: Recommend your orthopedic doctor please!
I've gone to the Jewett Orthopedic Group several times for a tendon problem in my hand...their hand specialist is fantastic. I also went there several years ago when I had a nerve problem in my back and they were good, but I don't think that doctor is still there. The only drawback is that the wait time when you arrive for an appointment is always kind of long.
Good luck!
The only orthoped. in Orlando that I know of (and has an excellent reputation) is Randy Schwartzburg (sp?), and he is/used to be with Jewitt. He specializes in lower extremities... so I don't know if that will help you or not.
I have met him and heard him speak at many sportmedicine conferences and symposiums and he really knows his stuff!!!
Good luck! (And I would stay away from any dr. on the worker's comp list.... they are they only one'w who will agree to those insurance terms, mostly b/c they don't have the patient load to sustain a business with out it - and the patients aren't going to them for a reason..... at least that's the case with MOST of the physicians in Brevard)
My firm uses Randy Schwartzberg a lot for various things and many of our clients see him. I recommend him as well...and he is still at Jewett Ortho.
One of our clients that has permanent nerve damage in his hand sees Richard Shure from Jewett Ortho. Highly recommend him as well.
