Just wondering if there are any engineers (working or getting a degree) on this board? If so, how are your goals working out? What type of engineering? And if you have children?
I am currently pregnant with my first child, I was going to school full time for nuclear engineering, but I had to take this semester off due to my child being due at the end of March. I want to keep going, but I know how difficult the classes are in the 3rd and 4th year... I am barely in the second year.

Re: Any Engineers Here?
I am a civil engineer, I was single thru my undergrad and grad and had a very established job when I got married. I'm expecting my first 13 years after graduation. We have been married for 6 years, we waited this long becuase at the begining, I was working at a consulting firm and travel 70% of the time, then switched firms, then got laid off and took me almost two years to get a job, when I landed a good job with security and good hours, I still waited almost 2 years to get established within the company and then we started trying.
I'm a mechanical engineer in the construction industry. I really enjoy it. I graduated 10 years ago.
I don't have kids however. I would love to have kids but I don't think I ever will. DH and I have been trying for five years now.
My sister-in-law finished getting her bachlor's degree after her daughter was born but I don't remember what her major was.
