It was wonderful! The guest of honor was taking a long nap and didn't show up until a half hour into the party though.  Grammy actually had to wake him up to get him there before dinner! He went crazy with his smash cake and was nice enough to share the cake with Mom and Dad... we all had to clean up afterwards. There are some adorable pictures I'll have up soon.

If anyone is looking for a great location in the North Hills, we've always loved the room above the skating rink and I'd certainly recommend it.

It's still hard to believe that he's 1 already. *sigh*

Happy birthday to him! It's a bittersweet milestone, but IMO the best is yet to come (15-24 months is my golden age)!

awww, so glad to hear it was a good time!  I can't wait to see some pictures.  And thanks for the tip about that room, after hosting the 5 year old bday party in my house this year, I might be looking for another location next year
