Nap Troubles
in GP Moms
Ava Nichol used to take a 45 min nap around 10 am and another 45 min nap around 1 or 2 pm. Now she can stay awake until about Noon and needs a nap. She still only sleeps for like an hour and then she wants a nap around 430 or five but if she naps that late she will stay up way too late. We tried moving bed time up from 8 to 7 but that didn't work. I am just tired of fighting with her to get to sleep at night but I have no idea how to transition from two short naps to one long one.
Any advice?

Today was another fail. She took a nap at 11am for about 45 min and then she fell asleep from 615 to 7 and now she is having trouble going to sleep! ugh.
I think tomorrow we will try lunch at 11 am and a nap afterwards and see if that changes anything.
