As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. I think these are totally disorganized. Marriage Equality has not stepped up and been a leader in this fight. I was thinking of going to the NYC march, but it's looking like it maybe 2,000 people. That's not an impact. I would have preferred that the community wait even a week longer, really organize these marches (particulary in the major cities) and then fight.
The Albany one wasn't even listed on the email blast from the gay and lesbian community center that went out today.
Janet, I'm a little concerned about this too. There are lots of gay websites/blogs that I check in on regularly, and I've barely seen this mentioned anywhere....
I'd really like to go, but I'm worried that word isn't getting out.
