Fire Alarms..ugh

At about 9pm last night we heard a bunch of sirens in my apt complex and there were abour 4 or 5 fire trucks outside one of the buildings. They left after about 5 min so we figured it was a false alarm.  DH and I went to bed around 10 and were freaked out when we heard the loudest sound ever. The alarms in our building started going off about 10:30! Ugh! I was so comfy in my bed too and had to walk outside in the cold until they came to turn them off.  I'm so tired now!!

Re: Fire Alarms..ugh

  • That stinks! Atleast there wasn't a real fire.... hope you have a good day!
  • Well the day hasn't started out great since they just went off again!! But your right at least it wasn't a real fire!

  • those are the worse!! When i lived in concord nh, we had that plm. I remember it was mothers day i was pregnant with girl number 4 and i was due anytime. Well i was asleep on the couch, when the fire alarm went off. I panic, told everyone hurry up and get dress. ( my girls were always naked!) mind ya they had thier girl panies on) they took their sweet time and im thinking if this was a fire we d be dead by now. So we were the last one out of the house, turned out that it was false alarm. I was not a happy person!

Since then the girls finally starting to wear clothes :-)

  • Just had false alarm #3!
