Obtaining a birth certificate???
I lost DD's birth certificate would I got to the city hall of the town I live in to get one or to providence city hall seeing as she was delievered at W&I's? Also DD #2 I never got her birth certificate so I assume I can get it at the same place. TIA!
Re: Obtaining a birth certificate???
You get it from the city where you lived when she was born. It gets filed by your residence, not her place of birth.
I just paid $20 for a copy of DD's, additional copies of the same certificate purchased at the same time are $15. I believe the fees are the same for all towns in RI, since it's technically a state birth certificate.
