Abnormal Quad Screening
I just got the call that our quad screening results came back abnormal. We go back to the dr. on Wednesday to find out what exactly is going on. I am trying not to panic, but it's really hard.
Could I please get some positive stories or T&P's?

Waiting is so hard. I am sorry. It is really really hard.
I had a couple good cries (when we were waiting on our genetic teasting) and found out that is a good way to induce a migraine, so I tried not to cry anymore.
A lot of things went through my head. I had a hard time eating and sleeping.
It turned out everything was ok (or as ok as they can tell). I hope it is the same for you. I will be thinking of you.
My advice is to try to distract yourself as much as possible. I would watch Netflix and play a little game on the laptop. Think about nothing but work at work. Get out and go grocery shopping. Try not to think about it and just take one day at a time.
When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.

I'm thinking of you. I remember how awful that phone call was.
Truly, though, the majority of those calls are false alarms. I know it won't make tomorrow any easier, but just know that many more people get that call than actually have problems.
