Toning Tuesdays

Ugh I feel like I do so well for a week or two then STOP. 

I have been walking more at work, and doing stairs.  I still need to hit the gym.  I can't wait until I can run outside after work!

Re: Toning Tuesdays

  • Yup. I got nothin. I need to clear my fridge of all the party food from last weekend and get myself straightened back out. I can tell my eating has taken a crap because I get heartburn a lot when I eat crappy.

    Thankfully we have a pretty quiet weekend so I can prep more food for the week.

    Im going to try to ride my bike or walk during Chase's baseball practices. But its hard knowing I dont have to stay at the 2 hour practice and there is so much more i can get done at home.

    Now all the birthday goodies are gone, I should be better too! 

    At work we have to go down half a flight of stairs to the bathrooms (um yea, we have half floors...).  So now I go all the way down, across the building, up the back stairs, down them... back across the building and back up the regular stairs, everytime I go to the bathroom.  My legs are alittle sore, but it's something!

    I consider that something! Its the little efforts that make differences in the end.

  • We went for a 1.5 mile walk on Sunday. That's the first time I've really done anything major since I got pregnant.

    There are a lot of steps in my new office as opposed to my old office that was all elevators so that's helping.

    I'm going to the gym tonight with a friend and I'll join there again. It'll be easier for me to get to the gym now that I get done work earlier and have off on Fridays.

  • We got a YMCA membership and I actually went to the gym today! I did a Zumba Toning class and wayyyy too much jiggled! I definitely need to make this a habit. 

    They have a child watch program for free where they babysit your child for an hour and a half and this was Annabelle's first time being babysat by anyone. EVER! It broke my heart to leave her but I checked up on her twice and the first time she was fussy but the second time she was all tears and it broke my heart. I know she has to get used to other people and this is actually good for her but ugh, its so hard!

    Oh yea!  We did go to the park this weekend with Hunter... and I did 2 loops around the neighborhood Sunday.  Hunter was exhausted haha. We need to get back to 6 loops = 2 miles.
