Thoughts on Amazon Registries?

Has anyone has ever created an Amazon Registry? Was it a good experience? What were the pros and cons of using Amazon vs an actual store.

I hate BRU with a passion and refuse to ever shop there. If I had to, I'd be willing to also register at Target but I'd love to do it all through Amazon.

You can also use myregistry. When I registered for Brooks my dad flipped on me one day since I used BRU and they don't have one. They have a tiny section in their TRU. But I had heard such horror stories about Target returns, and we don't shop at Walmart.

Thanks for all of the responses, I'm going with Amazon! I started registering for stuff and then got to the stroller section....whoa. I'm a little overwhelmed in that category and will likely be posting soon to discuss said topic with you all.
