Saving Wedding Presents

My H and were married on 1/03/13 in Vegas, and then we hosted a celebration reception on 3/02/13. We currently live in a very nice 2bd/1bth apartment.

My H thinks I am a little funny , because I am saving some of our wedding presents for use when we move into a house in August.  Is that kooky?

No, we did this. We stored some stuff at my parents because we had a very small place when we first got married.

No. I didn't open one new gift until we moved into our new house. I even saved the gift cards for things for the house.

We saved our presents too since we know we were going to move. It never occured to me that it might be weird. Why get rid of the toaster oven when the one we had worked fine?

not kooky! all of our nice dishes are put away in the basement b/c we have no room for them. I don't want to take them out of the nice boxes until I have some where to put/use them. hopefully when we host a holiday in our new house (in like 2 years)...som

Our kitchen is way too small for all the stuff we got! We are definitely keeping lots of it packed away in our storage room for now.
