Can you recommend an electric stove?

We're converting our gas stove to an electric and need to start shopping around for an electric stove. Which brands would you guys recommend? We're in the market for a 30" stainless steel and we're willing to look at everything from "break the bank" to "cheap, but always worked for us".

  • It's just personal choice to switch from gas to electric. We need a new stove no matter what so we wanted to make the switch now.

  • It is hard to say from the pic, but I believe I have the same Frigidaire stove as pictured above.  It was on sale at Lowe's and we got it for around $500 - has been great so far.

    we recently gutted and renovated our entire kitchen.  I did research for months on appliances and came down to the GE profile range.  It got GREAT reviews, and honestly --- we love this thing. lol

  • Thanks guys, I will look up the stoves you mentioned. DH and I did a quick first look at Sears and have been researching a few that we liked, but it seems each one has a problem....Kenmore had an exploding oven door, LG had a electronics pane
