Anyone live in or going to buy a duplex?

We are looking at buying our first home. We are looking at both single family and duplexes. In our area for our price range with a duplex we get more house and newer also. We found a duplex we ally like. It just needs new Kitchen appliances and new carpet.

my question is I am a little worried buying a duplex verses a single family one. Mostly neighbors being so close. But I love what options we can get with buying a duplex versus single family home. Anyone else buying a duplex or living in on?

  • This is something we're considering, because in my area "twin" homes are VERY common. You also can get a better price on a twin vs. a single family house, with less yard maintenance. And they can be just as big as SFH.
