Anyone live in or going to buy a duplex?

We are looking at buying our first home. We are looking at both single family and duplexes. In our area for our price range with a duplex we get more house and newer also. We found a duplex we ally like. It just needs new Kitchen appliances and new carpet.

my question is I am a little worried buying a duplex verses a single family one. Mostly neighbors being so close. But I love what options we can get with buying a duplex versus single family home. Anyone else buying a duplex or living in on?

No to both of your questions, but occasionalyl there are posts on here about buying townhomes, which are very similar to duplexes.

This is something we're considering, because in my area "twin" homes are VERY common. You also can get a better price on a twin vs. a single family house, with less yard maintenance. And they can be just as big as SFH.
