I get my hair cut every 6 weeks.  I went about 8 weeks around my wedding because I needed a few extra inches of length. I go every 6 weeks to keep my cut maintained (my hair is cut to just below ear length in sort of a bob).

I had very long hair, no dye etc. And chop it off every 3-4 years for locks of love...but i waited 5 YEARS! so i could have long hair for the wedding...I was so sick of it by then I went nuts with my haircut after.(I did get regular trims every 3-4 months

Long hair I would get a hair cut every 3-4 months... now I got the wife chop (it's a tad above my shoulders) I try to go every 6-8 weeks.  I went 3 months with the holidays etc and it was a hot mess.  I now set up the next appt before I leave.

I go every 12 weeks. I schedule each one before I leave from the current appointment. Before I did that, it would be months or even a year or so before I'd go. My hair stays a lot healthier this way.

 I usually go every 8-12 weeks.  I try not to pass the 12 week mark.  I used to have a bob (which I loved and miss).  Then I would go every 6-7 weeks to keep the shape.
