IVF-ers, I have a question
If you have a 3-day transfer, or a 5-day transfer, does that mean that the 2ww is actually like 10 days?
Also, have you tested on your own, or waited for betas? I know they say to wait for the blood test... but why?
Just curious. I'm gathering info.

I did 5 day transfers both times and the betas were both about 10 days after transfer day.
The first time I tested the day before my beta and got a pretty dark positive, the second time AF arrived before I had a chance to test on my own. Th

I tested before. They tell you to wait for the blood test so that you don't drive yourself insane with "is this a faint line?" crap.
Courtney5's was pg, got all negative tests and started with a beta of 11-- a test wouldn't have picked that up.&n
