*Another Update* You are not going to believe this...
We went in today for our ultrasound follow-up after the alpha-fetoprotein came back elevated last week. As soon as the tech put the wand on my stomach, two heads popped up and I knew what was happening. I gasped and she said, "You knew you were having twins, right?" I practically shouted "no!" and then started bawling.
We are shocked, thrilled, scared, and excited all thrown into one. We also found out that we are having one of each which makes the emotions even more crazy!
The doctor said the levels were concerning for a singleton, but not at all concerning for two. I have been crying and shaking all day. We are just so thankful for good news! Thanks, everyone, for helping me keep a level head the past three weeks.
