Ordering Carpet- questions
We are finally working on Adam's big boy room- which was supposed to be done before there was even a baby in the picture, but now we are on a time line...
We are going to have carpet installed, I found one I like at Lowes. It is SmartStrands by Mohawk.
1. Anyone have this carpet?
2. Anyone order from Lowes? advice, opinions....
3. How long does it usually take to get special order carpet?
- we have tore out plaster ceiling, installed a Attic access and put up Drywall. The Dry wall needs taped and sealed and sanded and then we want to paint the whole room. I would love to have that all done before they put in the carpet so we can then just get furniture and be done and not have to cover it to paint.
BUT I don't want to be sitting here waiting on carpet either.!

We had carpet installed today, actually, in our new house. We got 3 estimates--Lowes, Paracca and CLS. Lowes charged $35 to come out an measure b/c the are concerned that people just use them to find out how much they need and then they do
