My husband and I have been married about 3 months. I just finished grad school, and have a ton of friends who are a bit older then I, but sadly most have gotten divorced. I have a lot of girl friends from work, etc but most are not married. How did you all get couple friends?? I would really like to have other couples to hang out with but wonder how long it will take to acquire some couple friends! Any suggestions/advice/hope?

Try volunteering where you are bound to meet couples -- try fundraiser groups.
You might also want to try coed dance lessons --- sign up for salsa or ballroom or whatever catches your fancy.
The wedding bug seemed to hit both DH's family and mine at the same time... 3 of his cousins and 1 of mine all get married within a year of us, and his sister is getting married this summer!

I do alot of things independently. It would just b nice sometimes to be able to double date! Or have group activities where he isn't the only male. But I guess the kinks will work themselves out.
We also lucked out with DH's brother and two cousins getting married within a year from us. They are our closest couple friends.
