Months ago someone gave instructions on how to wash a down comforter in the washing machine. I can't find the thread! Was it you? and if so, can you repeat please? I know it involved a tennis ball, but that's about it!

  • Fwiw, I wash my down comforter in the washing machine (on a normal cycle, cool water) and then dry it in the dryer at a low/ medium heat with a couple of tennis balls :)

    Just be sure to check the lint trap occasionally- Roughly a million fea

  • It was me.  Use cold, on delicate if your machine has it.  You'll have to put it through the spin cycle a few times or it will never dry.  then into the dryer with clean tennis balls on low.  It takes a few cycles there also, and be su

  • thanks! good to know about running it a few cycles. $150 is just ridiculous! you could almost buy a new one for that. ok, Im gonna do it, Im kinda nervous!
