U/S Update (PIP)
So, Thursday afternoon was our dating ultrasound. When we got started, the tech had her computer facing toward her and there was a TV hanging on the wall directly in front of me. The TV was off so when she got started I was definitely staring holes into her, waiting for some kind of clue that everything was ok. She didn't say anything for what felt like minutes, although I'm sure it was just a matter of seconds.
Finally she said, "Aw, only one." I let out a breath and said, "So, it's in there?" She said, "Well yea, can't you see..." and turned around and realized she hadn't turned the TV on yet. She commented that the TV is usually left on all day but the couple before us wanted to do a gender reveal so she turned the TV off for them.
She turned the TV on and there he or she was, bobbing their little head from side to side and just perfect! It was the most amazing moment of both of our lives that's for sure. We could see the heartbeat beating away (173 bpm!!) and we were able to hear it. 
The baby measured at 8w1d which I completely expected because I knew I had ovulated later. So the baby is right on track and she said everything looks perfect.
Here is our little pumpkin, due Oct. 30th!
