What do you guys think of this quote?
?When broke people start to make fun of your financial plan, you know you are on the right track? ?Dave Ramsey

I kind of agree with it. Yes, it's snobby. But it's true.
We have 2 sets of friends who think we're crazy when we talk about our E-fund, and they will chuckle and say "what's that?" They also think we're nuts when we talk about paying extra towa

Good, so I wasn't the only person who thought it was snobby. I agree with it too. I just thought it was a little in your face. Like I'm better than you are because I save money and you're broke.
What happens when a non-broke person makes fun of
No one has commented about mine either. I also don't talk about it though. I think if you're fortunate enough to have a financial plan than you really shouldn't be talking about it with your broke friends unless they ask for advice.
I think it
Money and friends is a difficult thing. Most people are at different stages in life and make different incomes.
I've heard of Piropos and I know it's pricey. I see no problem with telling someone you'd rather go to a less pricey place. If they
I wouldn't discuss this quote with others, but I do agree with it.
This is actually true in many areas of life...when one is successful or does well, the very doing of doing well makes others feel envious, less successful, and unhappy as it point
I think it's true. I know that our financial advisor made fun of us for having so much in savings. We have a ridiculous amount in savings, and it's probably stupid not to put it in a mutual fund... but if we had followed her advice in 2007,
Just to be clear. He didn't say this to his friend. He just sent me an e-mail complaining and then ended with that quote.
I think it's a bit entitled. It comes off as "Since I save I'm allowed to judge everyone who isn't exactly like me".<
