Hello everyone!
We have signed & are under contract. We are in beginning processes of moving. Any helpful tips that might make our move easier? I have read through lists, but opinions and helpful hits would be appreciated.

Don't pack a ton of books in the same box...split them up to divide the weight.
You can get free boxes at your local grocery stores if you go on stocking days. Just bring a tool to cut them down so you can fit them in your car.

Choose one room or area that you can sacrifice in your house to put all of the packed boxes and furniture in. Clean the room first, then start adding the packed boxes. This will save tons of time on moving day, since you won't need to go to

Wish I would have saw this last week! Here is what NOT TO DO!!!
We just moved over the weekend - and it was - and still is a nightmare! Long story short, we sold our home much quicker than we anticipated. We are buying my parent

Like someone else said, sacrifice one room (usually a guest room or dining room) to put all the boxes. I'm a neat freak so i like doing this so i can CLEAN everything before putting our stuff away.
