Anyone seen any charity giving trees out yet?

Re: Anyone seen any charity giving trees out yet?

  • If you are talking about what I think.... the trees set up where you can buy a toy/clothes to donate? I saw a WOKQ one set up in Wal-Mart, that was up here in Laconia though.... I would think if they had made it up here the bigger places would have them too.

    Good Luck!

  • Yes, that's what I'm talking about. :) But Laconia is a bit of a drive ;)
  • I will keep an eye out to see if I see more popping up.... Come on, you don't want to drive to the woods of Laconia- I can't imagine why?!?! lol.
  • OH MAN, Cayla... coming from Ashland into Laconia it's like a metropolis, not the woods! LOL, not really, but it's a lot more "bustling" than here!
  • I was looking at something about Ashland the other day, doesn't it have a whopping 3500 people in it? Seriously, being from the seacoast and being transplanted over here- I sometimes feel like I'm on another planet. Last weekend I begged Scott to down to the seacoast so that I could feel like I was part of a living society... lol! This transition has taken some getting used to.
  • One of the organizations that I am part of the Lioness Club of Merrimack does all the trees in Merrimack, it is called Operation Santa. The trees should be up the week of Thanksgiving.  There are going to be trees at Golds Gym (Merrimack & Nashua), Merrimack Library, Merrimack Vision, Shaws North & South, Total Chiropractic, and Frank's Place.  The town is in great need this winter. We have a lot of families on the list.  If anyone wants to know more about Operation Santa let me know.
