Building. Any recomendations?
So we met with a builder and are planning on building in the next couple of years. Are there any message boards/communities/websites that are helpful in this process? We will be using our own floorplan and choosing every material used. Thanks for any help!

Work closely with your builder, land surveyor and architect!
They can make all the difference in having a smooth building process!
"google" all contractors and check them with the Better Business Bureau too!

We built a new house last year and learn so much form using Gardenweb.com. Go to the home forum and you can find links to different discussion.
I mostly used the kitchen and building a new home groups. The site saved me from making so many mistakes and help me decided what I really wanted in my home.
