Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I saw that you have a shore house in the one post. Can I ask where you are? How long have you been there?
My husband and I have a place in Margate, NJ. I love having a place, but dread the spring cleaning prior to the summer. We go down all year though, which helps.
I may have another question on how you deal with those people who think because they are family, they can come all the time

Well it is not our house, it is my parent's and we are very fortunate to use it on weekends in the summer with them. I have no siblings so no sharing

Thank you for that info. I can put my foot down b/c my parent's have always owned a shore house too, but have found that I don't want to step on the husbands family's toes. I know that is how you have to be....unfortunately. He is too
