bedroom comforter help!

DH and I are ready to revamp our bedroom, we have finally finished with our son's nursery and now we are ready for our turn! We currently have all black furniture and a beige fabric headboard. The wall where our bed is is painted a coco brown we also have black picture frames hanging on the walls. What color comforter set should we get? I am torn since I have always had brown, tan, and beige rooms but now that we have black furniture I am not sure what would look good. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you :)

  • Sounds like a medium-light green or a deep rich red wine color would go well with the beige, black.

Depending on the actual shade of beige that you have, you can pretty much get away with anything.  Do you have a picture of the headboard and

  • I think that the dark red would look really nice.  It's not too masculine, nor is it too femnine. Plus, I think it brings in a little romance.

Check out the colors in this placemat. The last three are what I am picturing in your space.

  • Definitely red or green. Red would make a nice strong accent piece, it would go nice with the black to bolden up the place. Green would make it look a bit softer, which is also great if that's what you want.

  • I am voting for red to bring some life to the room.
  • I would bring a bold/rich color into the space. Since all of the other pieces are neutral colors I would go with red, teal, or orange.

  • We have black furniture, beige-y light mocha walls, and black picture frames in our room and are also looking for new bedding. Our current bedding is chocolate brown which I though would look good, but it is too drab and oppressive. I am looking to lig

  • I would also vote for dark shades of red. It would not only look bright and attractive but also bring life to the room.
