I am new on this board, and wanted to say hello. 

I am Alyssa, and am an Opticain. My husband Allen is in the National Guard and works for Southern Belle. 

Its just the two of us and our two pets

O'Mallie the cat, and Ellie Mae the puppy .

woo-whoo! nothing down here but a walmart, and a used to be lake. 

But we have a new addition to our family... 

a new puppy.  

we are unsure of a name but it has been in our house 24 hours, and we are naming her as soon as DH gets home.

Hello, Alyssa.  I am also new to this board.  My hubby and I were married on July 12th of this year.  Right now it's just the two of us and our cat, Bo.  Although I'm terrible at checking back with any regularity, I hope to talk more later!

I am from Bowling Green. I have lived here for 3 years, before that it was NJ. I think I am stuck here now as DH does not want to leave. I think its finally growing on me.

Kentucky has a way of doing that to people. lol.

I'm sure unless the military moves us, we will be here forever.

If I had a choice I would never leave Kentucky either. Especially Lexington. I just love it too much! I'm pretty new to the boards too. Married October 4, 2008. How do you make such pretty backgrounds?
