Every day seems to last forever, probably from lack of sleep. But the weeks are flying by... I can't believe I've been back to work for 2.5 weeks! It is manageable most days. Busy, but we have a system and it's working and we're surviving ![]()
I do, however, feel like I'm in a rut with friendships again. I struggle to make friends as I'm not naturally very social and it's just so hard to maintain or begin friendships when life is so busy.
Sequestration is still happening, but no one is paying attention anymore. I'll count myself lucky if I only end up with a 20% pay cut for the forseeable future. They're talking layoffs next fiscal year (beginning in October) and I don't think I've been here long enough to avoid getting the axe. Let the aggressive saving begin.

How about taking your little sister to a paint your own pottery place, even if it isn't your first outing? Might be a really fun, and unique experience for her (and you)! I've been to Clayground, and had a blast!
