We (okay I) want new windows. We have crappy windows, that when it's cold out, they get a lot of condensation which turns into mold. DH had to wipe them down regularly. With a baby on the way, I want new windows - no mold.
He said we could have some companies come out for estimates. So I made a couple of calls and set up appointments for when I'm home from work. (DH's schedule is never consistent, so at least I know I'll be there, he's fine not being there.)
One of them called to confirm Monday's appointment. They asked if my husband would be there, I said maybe, but he never knows when he'll be home.
They said they wouldn't come out unless both of us were home.
I'm supposed to call them Monday evening to make sure my husband is going to be home before they'll come out.
So... if it was me that was going to miss, would they do the same thing? I doubt. Like I'm not capable of listening to what the guy has to say and relay it to my husband.
Am I over-reacting?

Re: offended..
I don't think so! I'd be pretty annoyed too. In fact, I think I'd call and confirm even if your husband wasn't going to be home. How the two of you handle appointments is none of their business - do they refuse to visit single parent homes? Yeah, doubt
The only reason why I can see them not wanting to meet with just one of you is if there are lots of details and options to choose from and they want to be able to go through all that during this visit. No point in doing that if there is only one o
