Getting ready to install new laminate

Hi all,

We just got our order of Pergo wood laminate flooring today. The people at Home Depot said that we don't need additional underlayment, as it has an attached underlayment.  What is your experience with this?

Thanks,

Christine

Re: Getting ready to install new laminate

  • We put in Pergo a few years ago but it didn't have underlayment attached. The underlayment was inexpensive and NBD to put in. If they told you don't need it then I'd assume you didnt unless you were wanting the kind with a heating element.
