Work from home?

Hi Everyone! I am currently looking for a new career opportunity and would love to secure full time position with a company in which I am able to work from home. I am in the higher education field right now, but have experience with marketing, management, etc. Right now I am full time in the office, but I live an hour away, and several nights a week I am here until 8-9PM, and it's getting hard for me to balance my work and personal life. Any ideas on companies I should look at??? I'm not really sure where to start with this search! Thanks!

Soon-To-Be Mrs. Keegan!

  • What about online tutoring, maybe? I'm really not sure...

I do WFH when needed right now, but will be going to an official 3 days a week WFH schedule. I've been with my company for almost 3 years and my work, and team, supports our Sales team (

  • If you're looking to stay in higher ed, unfortunately I don't know of many positions in this field that allow work from home. Maybe the University of Phoenix or EDMC in downtown where they have an online degree sector? I just know the traditional brick an

  • If jobs like that were easy to find, I think we'd all be doing it. ;)

I would love to be able to WFH a couple of days per week, and I know lots of people that do it - but I think a lot of them have been with their companies for a long time, hav

  • Most of the work from home jobs that I see are usually in sales, and sometimes recruiting, and generally they seem to be with companies where you'd really be on your own (zero person to person/team collaboration,etc.).  It seems more common to establ

  • I agree with everyone else. I think finding a job with a better balance is going to be easier than trying to find a WFH position. I did those hours for years and although my current job pays less, I am a much happier person with a lot less stress

  • My mil worked for the edmc and Duquesne and she traveled 95% of the time (ok maybe 85-90%). WFH seems like something you gain from being with a company for awhile. Unless you want to do transcription work?
